Afterward stroll through the Mid-Levels Escalator area, explore the boutique shops and street art of SOHO, and grab a Hong Kong-style milk tea to energize your first day.

Take the historic Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak for sweeping skyline views—wander the Peak Circle Walk and visit the Sky Terrace 428 for photo-perfect panoramas, then enjoy lunch at The Peak Galleria or a café overlooking the city. Head back down to Central to explore the waterfront at Central Piers and the nearby HSBC building and Statue Square, soaking in the colonial architecture and busy harbor atmosphere.

Evening:

Cross the harbor on the iconic Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui just before sunset, then walk the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade to catch the Symphony of Lights show and the glittering skyline from the Avenue of Stars. Finish the night with dinner at a Cantonese restaurant or rooftop bar in Tsim Sha Tsui—try Hutong or Aqua for skyline views—and wander through the lively Nathan Road or the Temple Street Night Market for late-night snacks and souvenirs.

Day 2 · Thu, Dec 4
Lantau Island (Hong Kong Disneyland)

Full Day at Hong Kong Disneyland

Morning:

Catch the MTR from Sunny Bay to Hong Kong Disneyland right after breakfast to beat the queues—enter through the familiar Storybook Circus and start with popular rides like Hyperspace Mountain and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. Stop for a mid-morning snack at the Main Street Corner Café or the Royal Banquet Hall and meet characters on Main Street U.S.A. for fun photos that carry the excitement from your arrival day into a full park experience.

Afternoon:

Spend the afternoon exploring Fantasyland and Toy Story Land—take the family-friendly It's a Small World and Mystic Manor for unique Disney experiences found in Hong Kong, then grab lunch at the quick-service Clopin’s Festival of Foods or the elegant Explorer’s Club Restaurant. Don’t miss the immersive Iron Man Experience and the Jungle River Cruise in Adventureland; use the Disneyland app for Lightning Lane/Standby times to fit in favorites without back-to-back waits.

Evening:

As the sun sets, stake out a spot for the Disney Paint the Night parade and the spectacular ‘Momentous’ (or the current nighttime spectacular) by the castle, followed by fireworks that light up the Lantau sky—dinner options nearby include the lively World of Color-themed eateries or a relaxed meal at Plaza Inn. Return to Central or your hotel by the Disneyland Resort Line, reflecting on a day of magical highlights and preparing for tomorrow’s Lantau island adventures to see Tian Tan Buddha and Tai O.

Day 3 · Fri, Dec 5
Lantau Island / Tai O Fishing Village

Lantau Highlights: Big Buddha, Ngong Ping & Tai O

Morning:

Take the morning Ngong Ping 360 cable car from Tung Chung for a scenic 25-minute ride with sweeping views of the airport and South China Sea, arriving at Ngong Ping Village to explore Po Lin Monastery and climb the steps to the Tian Tan (Big) Buddha—pause for a vegetarian lunch or tea at the monastery’s peaceful teahouse. Wander the sculpted gardens and learn about Buddhist culture in the monastery’s halls, continuing the relaxed pace after your energetic Disneyland day.

Afternoon:

Stroll Ngong Ping Village’s cultural piazza and visit the interactive Walking with Buddha exhibits, then catch the local bus or a short taxi ride to Tai O fishing village to experience stilt houses, traditional shrimp paste stalls and a boat tour to spot pink dolphins and view the village from the water. Sample Tai O street snacks like salted fish or egg puffs at the market, and browse small shops selling handmade crafts for authentic souvenirs.

Evening:

As daylight fades, linger on the waterfront and enjoy a seafood dinner at one of Tai O’s waterfront restaurants—try fresh grilled fish or prawn dishes—before returning via Tung Chung with a calm seaside sunset ride.
