Discovering Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: South Goa Beaches
    30 minutes (13.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, head to Palolem Beach to catch the sunrise and take a refreshing dip in the sea. After a late breakfast, visit the Cabo de Rama Fort to explore its rich history and breathtaking views. For lunch, grab a bite at Fisherman's Wharf in Mobor Beach. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Sal River and watch the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa and Panaji
    1 hour 10 minutes (32 km) from South Goa Beaches

    Begin the day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus and marveling at its exquisite architecture. Then, head to the Museum of Christian Art to explore the beautiful paintings and sculptures. For lunch, enjoy fresh seafood at Ritz Classic in Panaji, followed by a stroll in the charming Latin Quarter. In the evening, catch a sunset at Dona Paula Jetty and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantations
    1 hour 30 minutes (67.6 km) from Old Goa and Panaji

    Start early in the morning and drive to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters and enjoy the stunning scenery. After a picnic lunch, visit the Sahakari Spice Farm and learn about the different spices grown in Goa. In the evening, return to your hotel and relax.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Aguada Fort, Anjuna Beach, and the Saturday Night Market in Arpora. You could also take a tour of the churches in North Goa, or visit the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. For a side trip, head to Gokarna, a serene beach town located just across the border in Karnataka. To maximize your fun, hire a bike or scooter and explore Goa at your own pace.
