3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Bangalore in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Bangalore Palace
    14 minutes (4.5 km) from Bengaluru City Railway Station

    Visit Bangalore Palace in the morning to learn about the history of the Wodeyars, the royal family of Mysore. The palace has magnificent architecture and houses paintings, photographs, and other artifacts. Have lunch at the nearby Kamat Restaurant, which serves delicious South Indian thali. In the afternoon, explore the sprawling Cubbon Park, which is home to many exotic species of trees and plants. End the day with a visit to the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, which has several shows on astronomy and the universe.

  2. Day 2: Wonderla Amusement Park
    30 minutes (20 km) from Bangalore Palace

    Start the day early and head to Wonderla Amusement Park for some thrilling rides and fun activities. The park has over 60 rides, including water rides, roller coasters, and virtual reality games. The park also has several restaurants and cafes that serve Indian and international cuisines. In the evening, visit the Bull Temple, which is dedicated to Nandi, Lord Shiva's bull. The temple is made of granite and has a huge statue of Nandi. Have dinner at Maiyas Restaurant, which is known for its authentic Kannada food.

  3. Day 3: Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    25 minutes (8.8 km) from Wonderla Amusement Park

    Start the day with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, which is spread over 240 acres. The garden has over 1,800 species of plants and is home to a beautiful glasshouse that was modeled after the Crystal Palace in London.
