Board Frecciarossa/Italo high-speed train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN); enjoy the 1h20m ride—use this time to review reservations and charge devices.

Arrive Firenze SMN, walk toward the historic center and stop at Caffè Gilli (Piazza della Repubblica) or Ditta Artigianale for a quick espresso and cornetto.
