3-Day Itinerary for Goa

  1. Day 1: Panaji
    30 minutes (14.6 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Immaculate Conception Church, a beautiful 16th-century church that overlooks Panaji. Take a stroll along the Mandovi River and then head to the Goa State Museum, which has a vast collection of artifacts and artworks from Goan history. For lunch, try the traditional Goan fish curry rice at Viva Panjim. In the afternoon, visit the stunning 18th-century Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Miramar Beach and then head to the casinos in the nearby Mandovi River.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa
    30 minutes (10.9 km) from Panaji

    In the morning, visit the Bom Jesus Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the final resting place of St. Francis Xavier. Next, visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. For lunch, try the traditional Goan sausage pulao at Venite. In the afternoon, visit the 16th-century St. Augustine Tower, the only remaining structure of the Church of St. Augustine. In the evening, attend a traditional Goan dance performance at the nearby Kerkar Art Complex.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna
    1 hour (21.2 km) from Old Goa

    In the morning, visit the Anjuna Flea Market, which is only open on Wednesdays. Here you can find everything from souvenirs and clothes to spices and jewelry. For lunch, try the seafood platter at Curlies Beach Shack. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Vagator Beach, which is known for its stunning cliffs and sunset views. In the evening, attend a trance party at one of the many beach shacks that line the shore.

If you're looking for some more adventure, try parasailing or jet skiing at Calangute Beach. You can also take a day trip to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India.
