3-Day Nature Itinerary in Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 20 minutes (41.2 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Start your morning by visiting Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most stunning waterfalls in India. The cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush green forests offer a beautiful sight to behold. You can take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the falls or enjoy a nature walk in the nearby Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. In the afternoon, you can explore the nearby spice plantations and learn about the various spices used in Indian cooking. End your day with a relaxing evening at your hotel in the nearby town of Mollem.

  2. Day 2: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    40 minutes (16.5 miles) from Mollem

    Start your day by visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, named after India's most famous ornithologist. Here you can spot a wide variety of birds such as kingfishers, herons, and egrets. After that, proceed to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can take a nature walk and spot a variety of wildlife including deer, bison, and wild boars. In the evening, head to the nearby village of Ponda to witness the beautiful Shree Manguesh Temple, one of the oldest and most famous temples in Goa.

Don't miss the famous Tambdi Surla Temple, located inside the national park. This ancient temple is a perfect example of the beautiful architecture of the Kadamba dynasty. End your trip by enjoying a beautiful sunset at the nearby Colva Beach.
