3-Day Haridwar and Rishikesh Low Budget Trip from Delhi - Bachelor Party

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Haridwar
    5 hours (235 km) from Delhi
    Morning: Visit Har Ki Pauri Ghat and take a dip in the holy Ganges river. Witness the mesmerising Ganga Aarti, a spiritual ritual which takes place every evening at this ghat.
    Afternoon: Head to Mansa Devi Temple and take a cable car ride to reach the temple. The panoramic views of Haridwar from the cable car are breathtaking.
    Evening: Explore the local markets of Haridwar and try out local delicacies like aloo puri, kachori, and jalebi.
  2. Day 2: Explore Rishikesh
    1 hour (20 km) from Haridwar
    Morning: Visit Laxman Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge over the Ganges river. Take a dip in the river and try out adventure sports like river rafting and bungee jumping.
    Afternoon: Head to Beatles Ashram, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, where the Beatles stayed in 1968. The ashram is now abandoned but covered with graffiti art.
    Evening: Attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan, one of the largest ashrams in Rishikesh. The aarti takes place every evening at the ashram's ghat.
  3. Day 3: Visit Triveni Ghat and Depart from Rishikesh
    30 minutes (10 km) from Rishikesh
    Morning: Visit Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy rivers, Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Take a dip in the river and witness the morning aarti.
    Afternoon: Visit Neer Garh Waterfall, a serene waterfall located amidst lush green forests. Take a dip in the cool waters of the waterfall and enjoy a picnic lunch here.
    Evening: Depart from Rishikesh and head back to Delhi.
