Tanjung Rhu Beach is a serene and tranquil beach that boasts crystal clear waters and soft white sand. It's the perfect place to relax after a few days of exploring the island. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or take a boat ride to explore the nearby caves.
Langkawi is a small island, and the best way to get around is by renting a car or hiring a taxi. Rental cars cost around RM100-150 per day, and taxis charge about RM20-30 for a 10km ride. Ferries are also available to travel between the island and nearby islands.
If you have more time, consider visiting other attractions such as the Underwater World and the Mahsuri Tomb. If you have less time, skip Eagle Square and head straight to the Langkawi Sky Bridge.
Langkawi International Airport (LGK) is the main airport on the island. It's located in Padang Matsirat, about 20 minutes (12 km) from Kuah, the main town on the island.
