3-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary in Shiridi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the holy shrine of Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Sai Baba, one of the most revered saints in India.     Afternoon: After a spiritual morning, head over to the Dixit Wada Museum, which is just a 5-minute walk from the temple. This museum houses a collection of personal belongings, clothes, utensils, and other items used by Sai Baba during his lifetime. You can also learn about the saint's teachings and life through exhibits and audio commentary.

  2. Day 2: Shani Shingnapur and Khandoba Mandir
    40-minute drive from Shirdi

    Morning: Today, start early and drive to the village of Shani Shingnapur, which is famous for its temple dedicated to Lord Shani. The unique feature of this temple is that it has no doors or locks, as it is believed that Lord Shani protects the village from theft and crime. This temple is open from 6 AM to 9 PM.

    Afternoon: After seeking blessings at the Shani Shingnapur temple, drive to the Khandoba Mandir in Jejuri. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Khandoba, a warrior god who is believed to be an avatar of Lord Shiva. The temple is located on a hill and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You can also try the famous Jejuri peda, a sweet dish made of milk and jaggery.

    Evening: In the evening, return to Shirdi and relax at your hotel. You can also explore the local markets and try some street food.

  3. Day 3: Wet n Joy Water Park and Sai Heritage Village
