Visit the famous Radhanagar Beach for white sand, clear water and spectacular west-facing sunsets — ideal for swimming and relaxing; lifeguards are on duty in peak hours. Beach open 24 hours; best mid-morning to late afternoon.
Casual beachfront meal serving fresh seafood and local curries — try grilled fish and coconut prawn curry for local flavours; open 11:00–22:00 generally.
Take a 20–30 minute boat ride (or guided trek option) to Elephant Beach for excellent snorkeling and glass-bottom boat trips; boats generally run 8:00–16:00, check timings and safety briefings.
Snorkel among colourful corals and reef fish or try a guided sea walk; coral conditions vary, but this is the island’s top shallow-water snorkeling spot. Tours and equipment rental available; open during daylight hours.
If certified, book an afternoon two-tank dive to nearby reefs; beginners can try a Discover Scuba dive (check dive center availability 08:00–17:00). Alternatively rent a kayak for mangrove paddling near Kala Pathar area.
