2-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Goa in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Forts and Heritage Walk
    20 minutes (8.7 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the famous Aguada Fort, which was built in the 17th century. It offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. Afterward, head to the Chapora Fort, which is situated on the mouth of Chapora River. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and red cliffs. For lunch, try some local delicacies at any nearby restaurants. Later, go on a heritage walk in Panaji to learn about the Portuguese-influenced buildings and churches. You can visit the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, the Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. In the evening, enjoy a famous Goan sunset at Miramar beach.

  2. Day 2: Spice Plantation and Water Sports
    1 hour and 10 minutes (25 miles) from Miramar Beach

    Spend the morning at a spice plantation. You will get to see and learn how spices are grown, harvested, and processed. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at the plantation. In the afternoon, head to Calangute beach for some water sports activities such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet skiing. Later, head to the Saturday Night Market in Arpora. You can shop for souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, and try some delicious street food.
