  3. Day 3: Visit the High Altitude Lakes

    Leave early in the morning for Pangong Tso Lake, the highest saltwater lake in the world. Marvel at the blue hues of the lake and enjoy a picnic lunch by the shore. Return to Leh by evening.

Recommendations

Consider a visit to the Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world, on Day 4. You can also visit the Magnetic Hill on your way to Nubra Valley. Another option is to go on a yak safari in the Husing Valley on Day 5.
