Recommendations

If you have some extra time, consider visiting the Valley of Flowers National Park, a beautiful meadow of alpine flowers located near Badrinath. You can also take a side trip to Hemkund Sahib, a Sikh shrine located near the Valley of Flowers. To maximize your fun, try to book your helicopter ride to Kedarnath in advance to avoid the crowds. Don't forget to carry warm clothes as the temperature can drop significantly at night.
