Relaxing 3-Day Goa Itinerary in July 2023

Escape to the sun-soaked beaches, swaying palms, and vibrant culture of Goa. Spend three days relaxing, exploring, and indulging in the local cuisine. Here's a suggested itinerary to help you make the most of your trip.

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
1-hour drive (32 miles) from Goa International Airport

Start your trip with a visit to Palolem Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of golden sand fringed with coconut palms. Spend the morning soaking up the sun, swimming in the clear waters, and enjoying a refreshing coconut water. For lunch, try some of the fresh seafood at one of the many beach shacks. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll along the beach or try your hand at kayaking. End your day with a relaxing Ayurvedic massage and watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
2-hour drive (48 miles) from Palolem Beach

Start early and head to Dudhsagar Falls, one of Goa's most iconic attractions. The waterfall cascades down from a height of over 1,000 feet, surrounded by lush greenery. Spend the morning hiking to the falls, taking in the stunning views along the way. Afternoon, take a dip in the refreshing waters and explore the nearby spice plantations. Return back to Palolem Beach to end the day with a relaxing seaside dinner.

  3. Day 3: Fontainhas
1-hour drive (18 miles) from Palolem Beach

On your final day, discover the charming Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, in the capital city of Panaji. Take a walk through the winding alleys, admire the colorful Portuguese-style villas and attend the local fair. For lunch, try the traditional Goan cuisine, such as fish curry and rice or pork vindaloo. In the afternoon, visit the local museum or take a river cruise. End your trip with a sunset view from the picturesque Miramar beach.
