Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Government Museum, the Guindy National Park, and the Kalakshetra Foundation. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful Pulicat Lake, located 54 km north of Chennai. To maximize your fun, try taking a local bus or a shared auto-rickshaw instead of a taxi. It's a cheaper and more authentic way of getting around. Also, don't forget to bargain while shopping in local markets.
