2-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Hampi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Monuments of Hampi

    Start your day with a visit to the famous Virupaksha Temple, a must-see attraction in Hampi.   2. Day 2: Hampi Nature and Wildlife

    Start your day by visiting the Tungabhadra Dam, which is one of the largest dams in Karnataka. The dam provides water for irrigation and other purposes and is an excellent place to enjoy the scenic beauty of Hampi.

    Afterward, head to the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, which is home to several species of flora and fauna, including the Indian sloth bear. The sanctuary is an excellent place for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers.

    In the evening, head to the Sanapur Lake, a beautiful lake surrounded by hills and palm trees. You can enjoy a boat ride or swim in the clear waters of the lake.

If you have more time, you can also visit the Lotus Mahal, a beautiful palace that was built during the reign of the Vijayanagara Empire. You can also explore the underground Shiva Temple, located near the Hampi Bazaar.
