Himachal Pradesh Relaxation Itinerary - October 2024

  1. Day 1: Manali
    3 hours 40 minutes (104 km) from Chandigarh

    Start your trip in Manali by visiting the Hadimba Devi Temple, a wooden temple surrounded by beautiful cedar forests. In the afternoon, head to the Manali Nature Park where you can take a relaxing walk and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.   2. Day 2: Dharamshala

    Begin your day with a visit to the Bhagsunag Waterfall, a majestic waterfall nestled in the Dhauladhar mountain range. In the afternoon, head to the Tsuglagkhang Complex, home to the Dalai Lama and a peaceful place to meditate and reflect. Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Rohtang Pass in Manali for some breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Another great side trip is a visit to the Prashar Lake near Mandi. To maximize your fun, be sure to try some local dishes like Chha Gosht and Sidu in Manali, Momos and Thukpa in Dharamshala, and Channa Madra and Tudkiya Bhath in Shimla.
