6-Day Itinerary for Goa

  1. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (13.1 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the 16th-century Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Admire the Baroque architecture and the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Museum of Christian Art to see a collection of exquisite artefacts. In the evening, take a stroll around the picturesque Fontainhas neighbourhood, known for its colourful Portuguese-style houses.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (61.1 km) from Panaji

    Start early and drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls and enjoy the scenic beauty. In the afternoon, stop by the spice plantations of Ponda to learn about the local spices and enjoy a traditional Goan meal. Head back to your hotel in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    25 minutes (14.7 km) from Calangute

    In the morning, visit the 17th-century Fort Aguada, a Portuguese fort that offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Afterwards, head to Sinquerim Beach, a quiet and clean beach with calm waters. In the afternoon, take a short drive to Candolim Beach, known for its water sports and beach shacks. Enjoy some seafood and drinks as the sun sets.

  4. Day 4: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

  5. Day 5: Anjuna Flea Market and Baga Beach

    On Wednesday, head to the Anjuna Flea Market, one of the most popular markets in Goa. Browse through the stalls selling clothes, jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs. Afterwards, head to Baga Beach, a lively and crowded beach with plenty of water sports, restaurants and bars. Spend the evening enjoying the nightlife at Tito's Lane or Club Cubana.

  6. Day 6: Se Cathedral and Miramar Beach
    20 minutes (8.8 km) from Panaji

    In the morning, visit the magnificent Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. Admire the Portuguese-Gothic architecture and the impressive bell tower. In the afternoon, head to Miramar Beach, a popular spot for picnics and sunsets. Take a walk along the promenade and enjoy some street food. End your trip with a visit to the nearby Dona Paula viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.
