3-Day Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (8.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip to Goa by visiting Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort located on Sinquerim Beach. In the morning, take a leisurely walk along the fort's ramparts, which offer stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Afterward, head to Candolim Beach, which is just a short walk away, and enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea. In the afternoon, explore the fort's interior, which includes a lighthouse, a chapel, and prison cells. In the evening, enjoy a sunset dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants in Candolim.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (70 km) from Fort Aguada

    On day two, drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. In the morning, take a dip in the cool waters of the falls, which are surrounded by lush greenery. Afterward, take a guided tour of the park to spot some of the local flora and fauna, including elephants, deer, and butterflies. In the afternoon, drive to the nearby Tambdi Surla Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Goan dinner at a nearby restaurant.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market
    1 hour (20 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    On your last day in Goa, visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market, which takes place every Wednesday. In the morning, stroll through the market's colorful stalls, where you can find everything from jewelry and clothing to spices and souvenirs. Afterward, head to nearby Anjuna Beach, which is known for its beautiful red cliffs and stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Chapora Fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. In the evening, head back to Anjuna Beach to enjoy a sunset cocktail at one of the beachside bars.
