5-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary for Ayodhya in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Ram Janmabhoomi Temple
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Ayodhya Railway Station

    In the morning, visit the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu sites in Ayodhya. Afternoon, explore the Hanuman Garhi temple, known for its beautiful architecture.   2. Day 2: Kanak Bhawan and Nageshwarnath Temple

Afternoon, go to the Nageshwarnath Temple, the oldest temple in Ayodhya that has a significant historical and religious importance.   3. Day 3: Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan and Gulab Bari

    Visit the Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan in the morning, a research institute that houses a museum showcasing the rich history of Ayodhya. Afternoon, take a tour of the Gulab Bari, an 18th century mausoleum of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Saryu River.

  4. Day 4: Treta Ke Thakur and Kaleram Ji ka Mandir
    30 minutes (7.2 km) from Gulab Bari

    Start your day by visiting the Treta Ke Thakur temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama's younger brother, Lakshman. Afternoon, explore the Kaleram Ji ka Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama's son, Kush. In the evening, witness the Ramlila performance, a dramatic reenactment of Lord Rama's life.

  5. Day 5: Ayodhya Ki Sweets and Ayodhya Santosh Bakery
    15 minutes (4.3 km) from Kaleram Ji ka Mandir

    On your last day, try the famous sweets of Ayodhya. Visit Ayodhya Ki Sweets in the morning and Ayodhya Santosh Bakery in the afternoon. In the evening, attend the sound and light show at Ramkatha Park, a mesmerizing experience that takes you through Ayodhya's history.
