Useful Tips

If you have more time, experience the culture of the Malagasy people by travelling through Fianarantsoa and Antsirabe. Along the road you can also witness the agriculture and rice paddies. For those who want to add a luxury experience, book a stay at the Anjajavy Private Reserve or Tsara Komba Lodge! If time is limited, consider skipping Ranomafana National Park and instead spend another night at Isalo National Park.

Airports

The Ivato International Airport (TNR) is the largest airport in Madagascar and located near Antananarivo, the country's capital city. It is approximately 20 km from the city centre. Madagascar has three other airports, with two of them catering more towards domestic flights: Toamasina Airport (TMM), Nosy Be Airport (NOS).
