Relaxing 2-Day Itinerary from Udaipur to Jaipur in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Udaipur to Pushkar
    3 hours 30 minutes (164 km)

    Morning: Leave Udaipur early in the morning and head to Pushkar, a holy town famous for its Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake. Take a dip in the holy waters and experience the tranquillity of the temple.

    Afternoon: After having lunch, visit the Pushkar Camel Fairgrounds for camel rides and witness the fascinating atmosphere of the fair.

    Evening: Later, take a stroll around the Pushkar Bazaar, known for its colourful textiles, jewellery and handicrafts. Stay overnight at a hotel in Pushkar and enjoy the serene surroundings.

  2. Day 2: Pushkar to Jaipur
    2 hours 30 minutes (145 km)

    Morning: Leave Pushkar in the morning and head to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Jaipur is known for its rich history, culture and architecture. Start the day by visiting the majestic Amber Fort, which is situated on a hill and offers stunning views of the city.

    Afternoon: After having lunch, visit the City Palace, which is a complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings. It houses a museum that showcases various artefacts from the royal family of Jaipur.

    Evening: Later, visit the famous Hawa Mahal, which is a stunning palace made of pink sandstone. It has numerous small windows that allow cool breeze to pass through the palace, hence the name "Palace of Winds". End the day by shopping at the colourful markets of Jaipur, such as Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. Stay overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.

If you have more time in Jaipur, you can visit other attractions such as Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, and Jal Mahal. You can also take a trip to the nearby town of Ajmer, which is known for the famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah. For a unique experience, you can also take a hot air balloon ride over Jaipur.
