Tungnath suggestion

Tungnath is a high-altitude trek requiring 2–3 days from Rishikesh/Mussorie and is best in clear weather. Given your tight Rishikesh→Mussoorie→Haridwar window and focus on river/adventure activities, I do NOT recommend Tungnath on this trip — save it for a dedicated Uttarakhand trekking trip.

Hidden Gems and Local Favorites

Explore lesser-known spots: Patna Waterfall (near Rishikesh) for cool swims, Neer Garh cascade, Kunjapuri sunrise temple, Rajaji forest fringes for birding, and Mussoorie’s Lal Tibba at dawn. Try local bakeries, roadside dhabas for authentic flavors and small cafés near Laxman Jhula for chilled evenings.
