3-Day Itinerary for Bangalore in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    20 minutes (5.8 km) from Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru

    Start your day exploring the beautiful Lalbagh Botanical Garden which boasts a collection of over 1,000 species of plants. The morning light is perfect for a peaceful stroll through the garden, listening to the chirping birds and soaking in the fresh air. Afterward, head to the nearby MTR Restaurant for an authentic South Indian breakfast. In the afternoon, visit the Bangalore Palace. The palace is a perfect blend of Tudor and Scottish Gothic architecture and has beautiful gardens surrounding it. End your day at the UB City Mall for dinner and shopping.

  2. Day 2: Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace
    25 minutes (8.1 km) from Lalbagh Botanical Garden

    Start your day early with a visit to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. This beautiful palace has stunning teak pillars, frescoes, and ornate balconies. Afterward, visit the nearby Bull Temple which is dedicated to Nandi, the bull-like mount of the god Shiva. The temple's statue of Nandi is the largest in the world and is carved out of a single granite block. In the afternoon, visit the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium to learn about astronomy and space. End your day at the nearby Indiranagar 100 Feet Road which is dotted with restaurants and bars.

  3. Day 3: Bannerghatta National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (27.1 km) from Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

    Start your day early with a visit to Bannerghatta National Park which is home to a variety of wildlife including tigers, lions, elephants, and bears. You can take a safari through the park to see these animals in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the ISKCON Temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple is built in a neo-classical style with beautiful gardens surrounding it. End your day at the nearby Orion Mall for dinner and some last-minute shopping.

If you have extra time, you can visit the Bangalore Fort, St. Mary's Basilica, and the HAL Aerospace Museum. For a side trip, you can visit the nearby Nandi Hills which is a popular hill station. To maximize your fun, try some local delicacies like idli, dosa, and vada. You can also take a walk around the Ulsoor Lake or try some adventure sports like zip-lining and paintball at the Ramanagara Adventure Camp. Lastly, make sure to try the famous filter coffee at any of the local coffee shops.
