Tips

If you need more time in Shanghai, add a half‑day on Oct 3 and shorten the Xi’an stay, or replace the Xi’an City‑Wall bike ride with a quick visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. To cut costs, consider a budget flight Shanghai → Xi’an (often cheaper than the high‑speed ticket) and a night train from Xi’an to Guangzhou, saving a night’s accommodation. Both cities have excellent cheap hostels if you prefer not to stay with friends.

Plan Your I will be in Shenzhen, China on 1 October 2027. I need a short multi-city trip and must return to Shenzhen (Pingshan campus) by 7 October 2027 (latest by evening). Key constraints I already have accommodation in Shenzhen → no need to stay or visit Shenzhen I want to travel outside Shenzhen and explore other cities I cannot leave mainland China → no Hong Kong or Macau Prefer long-distance travel (e.g. Shanghai or central China regions) Focus on cheap and efficient travel Goal is productive sightseeing / cultural or urban exploration, not luxury tourism Preferences Prioritize high-speed rail routes or efficient transport Keep costs low and present all estimates in EUR (€) Prefer a compact itinerary (few cities, not too rushed) Output needed Suggested itinerary from 1–7 Oct 2027 Do not return to shenzhen on those days... I want to stay at least 2 days in shanghai and i have a friend that will guest me, keep xi'an Trip
