In the morning, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience of white water rafting in the Ganges river. You will be accompanied by a professional guide who will brief you on safety measures and paddling techniques. The rafting route is 16 km long and takes around 3 hours to complete. You will encounter rapids ranging from grade 2 to grade 4, and also get to see the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas and the surrounding forests. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the banks of the river. In the afternoon, visit the Beatles Ashram, also known as the Chaurasi Kutia ashram. This ashram was once used by the Beatles to practice transcendental meditation. It has beautiful graffiti and wall art, and you can also trek up to a nearby viewpoint for breathtaking views of Rishikesh. Recommendations

In addition to the above activities, you can also try rock climbing, rappelling, and kayaking in Rishikesh. You can also take a side trip to Haridwar, another holy town located around 20 km from Rishikesh. Haridwar has several temples and ghats, and you can attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri ghat. To maximize your fun, try to do the adventure activities early in the morning to avoid the crowd and heat. Wear comfortable and lightweight clothes, and carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. You can also try local cuisine such as aloo puri, chole bhature, and lassi. Finally, don't forget to shop for souvenirs such as Rudraksha beads, gemstones, and handicrafts.
