4-Day Nature Itinerary for Goa and Gokarna in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour (43.6 miles) from Goa Airport

    Start your day early and head to Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the most popular waterfalls in the region. Enjoy the morning mist as you trek to the waterfall and take a dip in the refreshing waters. In the afternoon, visit the Mahadev Temple and explore the nearby spice plantations. End your day with a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River, enjoying cocktails and Goan seafood.

  2. Day 2: Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (39.4 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Start your day with a trek in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Visit the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, explore the Mollem National Park and take a dip in the Dudhsagar river. End your day with a bonfire and a barbecue under the stars.

  3. Day 3: Om Beach and Half Moon Beach

  4. Day 4: Yana Caves and Mirjan Fort
    2 hours 30 minutes (79.6 miles) from Om Beach

    Start your day with a trek to the Yana Caves, which are located in the Western Ghats and are known for their unique rock formations and lush greenery. In the afternoon, explore the Mirjan Fort, which is a 16th-century fort located on the banks of the River Aganashini. End your day with a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea at the Sunset Point.

Other local attractions that you should consider visiting include the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, the Chapora Fort, and the Anshi National Park.
