Start your day early and head towards the Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. The 3 km trek to the top of the peak is a bit challenging but definitely worth it.
In the morning, you will be greeted by a beautiful sunrise, clear skies and fresh air. Spend some time here admiring the breathtaking view with a hot cup of coffee from the nearby vendors. After trekking down, visit the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary to spot some rare bird species and maybe even some tigers if you're lucky. In the evening, head to the Baba Budangiri Hills to witness the beautiful sunset.

If you have extra time, visit the Jhari Waterfalls or the Hebbe Waterfalls for a refreshing break from the heat. You can also take a side trip to the nearby city of Belur to explore the Chennakesava Temple, which is known for its beautiful architecture. To maximize your fun, try some of the local delicacies such as the biryani or the idli dosa. Finally, don't forget to take back some coffee beans as souvenirs!
