3-day Cultural Immersion Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Old Goa

    Start the day by visiting the Goa Chitra Museum, which showcases the cultural heritage of Goa through its exhibitions of traditional farming tools, musical instruments, and handicrafts. Next, head to the Shantadurga Temple, dedicated to the goddess of peace and harmony. In the afternoon, experience the vibrant culture of Goa at the Ancestral Goa museum, which recreates a Goan village and offers demonstrations of traditional crafts like pottery and weaving. End the day with a visit to a local spice farm to learn about the region's famous spices.

  3. Day 3: Beach Day
    1 hour (27.8 miles) from Ancestral Goa Museum

    For your last day in Goa, relax on the beautiful Palolem Beach. Take a dip in the Arabian Sea, go kayaking, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a variety of animals including sloth bears, deer, and bison. As the sun sets, head to the nearby Cabo de Rama Fort, located on a cliff overlooking the sea, for a stunning view of the coastline.
