  1. Day 1: Kochi
    30 minutes (12.8 km) from Cochin International Airport

    Morning: Visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, built-in 1555 by the Portuguese. The palace is home to many historical artifacts and beautiful murals depicting religious scenes.

    Afternoon: Take a stroll through the vibrant streets of Jew Town, known for its antique shops and spice markets. Visit the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations.

    Evening: Watch a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance-drama that originated in Kerala. The performance depicts stories from Indian mythology and is a unique experience that shouldn't be missed.

  2. Day 2: Thiruvananthapuram
    4 hours 20 minutes (210 km) from Kochi

    Morning: Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the most famous temples in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is known for its intricate architecture and murals. Please note that non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple.

    Afternoon: Take a walk through the Napier Museum, a beautiful 19th-century building that houses a collection of Indian art and artifacts.

    Evening: Head to the Kovalam beach, known for its picturesque views and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the sunset and go for a swim in the shallow waters.

If you have extra time, consider taking a side trip to the hill station of Munnar, known for its beautiful tea plantations.
