Bangalore to Chikmagalur 3-Day Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Start your Journey from Bangalore

    In the morning, start your journey from Bangalore to Chikmagalur. After a 4-hour drive, stop at Hassan for lunch and visit the Hasanamba Temple. Later, head to Shravanabelagola, a famous Jain pilgrimage center, and witness the world's tallest monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali. Continue the drive to Chikmagalur and check-in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the nearby tea estates and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

  2. Day 2: Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri

    Recommended Starting Time: 6:00 AM

    In the early morning, start the day with a trek to Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka, and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view from the top. After the trek, visit the Seethalayanagiri Temple and enjoy the panoramic view of the valley. Later, drive to Baba Budangiri, a sacred mountain range, and visit the Dattatreya Peetha and Manikyadhara Waterfalls. In the evening, return to Chikmagalur and spend some time at the local market.

  3. Day 3: Kemmangundi and Hebbe Falls

    Start the day by driving to Kemmangundi, a hill station located in the Baba Budangiri range. Visit the Kemmangundi Peak and enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset. Later, head to Hebbe Falls, a gorgeous waterfall located in the middle of a coffee plantation. Take a dip in the natural spring water and enjoy the serene environment. On the way back, stop at the Z point and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the sunset. Head back to your hotel and rest.
