Recommendations

Shirdi is a small town, and the places mentioned above cover most of the significant attractions. However, you can also consider visiting the Khandoba Mandir, which is open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The temple is dedicated to Lord Khandoba and is located in the middle of a beautiful garden. You can also plan a side trip to Shani Shingnapur, a village famous for its Shani temple. It is located around 70 km from Shirdi and takes around 2 hours to reach by car. To maximize your fun, you can plan your trip during the monsoon season (July to September), when the nearby waterfalls like the Bhandardara and the Dudhsagar are at their best. Finally, do not forget to try out the famous Shirdi peda, a sweet delicacy unique to the town.
