4-Day Goa Itinerary in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Old Goa and Panaji City
    25 minutes (10.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa, which was the capital of the Portuguese colony in the 16th century. Visit the famous churches and cathedrals like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. In the afternoon, head to Panaji, the capital city of Goa, and visit the Fontainhas Latin Quarter, known for its colorful Portuguese-style houses and gardens. In the evening, stroll along the Mandovi River, and watch the sunset from the Miramar Beach.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    2 hours (48.5 miles) from Panaji City

    In the morning, visit the magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. You can trek to the falls through the lush green forest or take a jeep safari. In the afternoon, head to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to diverse flora and fauna like leopards, deer, birds, and reptiles. Take a safari ride to explore the sanctuary. In the evening, return to your hotel and relax.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Beach and Fort Aguada
    1 hour 15 minutes (16.5 miles) from Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    In the morning, visit Anjuna Beach, which is famous for its beautiful shorelines and water sports. Indulge in activities like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.   4. Day 4: Spice Plantation and Morjim Beach
