4-Day Relaxing Itinerary for Goa in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 15 minutes (36.7 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Begin your trip to Goa by relaxing at Palolem Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches in the state. Spend the morning lounging on the beach, taking a dip in the clear waters, and enjoying the stunning scenery. For lunch, head to one of the many shacks along the beach and try some fresh seafood. In the afternoon, take a walk to Butterfly Beach, which can only be accessed by boat or a 2km trek through the forest. In the evening, watch the sunset from the beach and enjoy a few drinks at a beachside bar.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 15 minutes (47 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Start your day with a trip to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The fall is surrounded by lush green forests and makes for a beautiful sight. You can take a dip in the pool at the base of the falls or enjoy a picnic with your loved ones. In the afternoon, head back to Palolem Beach and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the beach. In the evening, head to one of the beachside shacks and enjoy some live music.

  3. Day 3: Chapora Fort and Anjuna Beach
    1 hour 10 minutes (29.3 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Start your day with a visit to the Chapora Fort, which sits atop a hill overlooking the Chapora River and the Arabian Sea. The fort offers stunning views of the surrounding area and is a great spot for taking pictures. In the afternoon, head to Anjuna Beach, which is known for its hippie culture and vibrant nightlife. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, trying some of the local cuisine, and exploring the nearby markets. In the evening, head to one of the many beachside clubs and dance the night away.

  4. Day 4: Aguada Fort and Sinquerim Beach
    40 minutes (8.4 miles) from Anjuna Beach

    On your last day in Goa, visit the Aguada Fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the early 17th century. The fort is surrounded by a moat and offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. After exploring the fort, head to Sinquerim Beach and spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or trying some water sports. In the evening, head back to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner before leaving Goa the next day.

If you have more time in Goa, consider visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, taking a cruise along the Mandovi River, or trying some of the local seafood at the many beachside shacks. If you want to go on a side trip, consider visiting the nearby state of Karnataka to see the ancient ruins of Hampi or the beautiful Jog Falls. To maximize your fun, try to visit during one of the many music festivals that take place in Goa, such as the Sunburn Festival or the Goa Carnival. Finally, make sure to try the local drink Feni, made from cashew or coconut, while you're in Goa.
