3-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Beaches of North Goa
    1 hour 20 minutes (32.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

  2. Day 2: Explore Old Goa and Panaji

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. After that, head to the Church of St. Cajetan, which is modeled after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. For lunch, stop by Viva Panjim, a restaurant that serves authentic Goan cuisine. In the afternoon, explore the Latin Quarter of Panaji, which has colorful colonial houses and charming streets. In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.

  3. Day 3: Visit Dudhsagar Falls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    In the morning, go on a trek to Dudhsagar Falls, which is the highest waterfall in Goa. After that, head to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a great place for families. You can see deer, sloth bears, and monkeys there, and there's also a zoo and a botanical garden. For lunch, stop by the cafeteria inside the sanctuary. In the evening, visit the Museum of Goa to learn more about the state's history and culture.
