Recommendations

If you have some extra time, visit the Chapora Fort, Aguada Fort or the Old Goa churches. Try the local feni and visit the spice plantations to learn about the spices used in Goan cuisine. You can also go for a day trip to the nearby Gokarna or Hampi for some off-beat experiences. To maximize your fun, try to book your stay near the beach and rent a scooter to explore the beaches easily. Don't forget to pack sunscreen and comfortable clothing for the beach activities.
