Two Days in Chickmangalor on a Shoestring Budget

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Peak
    1 hour 20 minutes (25 miles) from Chickmangalor

    Mullayanagiri Peak is the highest peak in Karnataka, offering stunning views of the valley below. In the morning, hike to the top of the peak to catch the sunrise. Afterward, have breakfast at one of the local restaurants in Sarpadhari, and then visit the Hebbe Falls in the afternoon. In the evening, head back to Chickmangalor and spend time exploring the local markets.

In the afternoon, visit the Kudremukh National Park, where you can take a dip in the natural waterfall. In the evening, return to Chickmangalor to indulge in local cuisine.
