Since it’s already around 11 a.m., have lunch in Igatpuri town before heading out. Hotel Sai Plaza is a practical stop near the town centre for a straightforward Indian meal; allow roughly ₹200–₹500 per person, and check what’s being served when you arrive. From town, take an auto or drive toward Ghatandevi Temple, near the railway station; allow about 45 minutes there. Keep your footwear easy to remove, and be especially careful on wet steps.
Continue by road to Camel Valley, along the Mumbai–Nashik route, and give yourself about an hour for the views. In late-September rain, the waterfalls can be impressive, but mist can also roll in quickly—stick to established stopping areas, stay well back from the edge, and don’t stop in a live traffic lane. Then head along the Igatpuri–Kasara stretch to Bhatsa River Valley for a relaxed hour at the viewpoints. A car is easiest for linking these stops; if you’re using autos, agree on the fare and wait time before setting off. Aim to finish before dusk, as visibility and road conditions can change fast in the ghats.
