Start with a relaxed lunch at a local eatery along the main road through Shendi—there are simple village restaurants and dhabas, but opening times and menus can vary, so ask locally what’s being served. Budget about ₹250–500 per person for a filling meal. Since it’s already 11:11 a.m., eat now and aim to be back on the road within an hour.
Head to Wilson Dam on the Pravara River for broad valley views; allow around 45 minutes. Then continue to Umbrella Falls, just below the dam, for the viewpoint over the cascade. Late September is still monsoon season, so the falls may be impressive, but water flow depends on rainfall and dam releases. Keep to marked viewpoints and follow any local barriers or warnings—spray, slippery steps and changing water levels are real considerations.
Drive on to Randha Falls near Ratanwadi, allowing roughly 30–40 minutes each way from Shendi and about an hour at the gorge. Check road and viewpoint conditions before setting out, and don’t linger too long if rain or mist reduces visibility. Finish at Arthur Lake for a quieter lakeside pause and mountain views toward sunset; give yourself about an hour, and bring a light layer as it can cool off after rain.
