This is a very long drive, not a safe or realistic single-day run: plan on roughly 17–20 hours behind the wheel, before meal, fuel and rest breaks. Leave before dawn, share the driving if possible, and take the route via Agra, Kanpur and Varanasi—using the Jaipur–Agra highway connection, then NH 19 east. Check live traffic and road conditions before setting out, and don’t let the planned destination pressure you into driving tired.
After about 4–5 hours, stop near Agra for a proper meal and a 45–60-minute driver break; choose a well-lit, busy highway-side place with clean facilities rather than trying to push through. A few hours farther on, take another 30–45 minutes near Kanpur to refuel, stretch and eat. Keep water and snacks accessible, and expect journey times to shift with traffic, roadworks and city approaches.
Plan to finish the day in Varanasi, not Patna. Reserve a hotel in advance and confirm it has secure parking; arrive with enough time to check in and get proper rest before continuing the drive the next day. Once you reach Patna, Bansi Vihar on Fraser Road is a handy South Indian meal stop—budget around ₹250–₹500 per person and check current opening hours before heading over.
