Dates are flexible. This day-by-day plan is provisional until you choose exact travel dates.
Start early at Kapila Theertham, at the Alipiri foothills; aim for around 6:30–7:00 a.m. so you have time for the temple, steps and queue before the day warms up. Allow about an hour, though darshan waits can stretch. Take an auto or cab to ISKCON Tirupati on Hare Krishna Road—roughly 15–20 minutes depending on traffic—and spend about an hour there. Temple schedules can change, so check both temples’ current darshan timings before setting out.
Head into the center for a South Indian vegetarian lunch near Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple. Hotel Mayura, close to the railway-station area, is a practical stop for a sit-down meal; budget roughly ₹150–₹350 per person. Leave about an hour for lunch, and keep some flexibility in case service is busy.
Visit Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple after lunch, allowing 1.5–2 hours for the complex and darshan queue. Then take an auto or cab to Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur, about 15–25 minutes from the center in normal traffic. Allow another 1.5–2 hours, especially if queues are long; modest dress is advisable, and check the temple’s current darshan hours before you go. This is a full day, so avoid adding extra stops—and if you arrive to a long queue, prioritize unhurried darshan over trying to fit in anything else.
After reaching Tirumala, go first to Sri Varahaswamy Temple beside Swami Pushkarini; this customary visit usually takes 45–60 minutes, though queues and temple timings can vary. Then head to Sri Venkateswara Temple nearby. Make this the day’s main commitment: allow at least 3–6 hours for security and darshan, and book through TTD’s official channels in advance. Your wait depends on the darshan type and crowd, so keep the rest of the day flexible; follow the temple’s dress and security rules, and check current guidance on permitted belongings before joining the queue.
After darshan, visit Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple, opposite the main temple entrance; 30–45 minutes should be enough. Walk on to the Tirumala Annaprasadam Complex for a simple community meal, generally free, allowing about an hour and checking serving arrangements locally. For Akasaganga Teertham, arrange a local vehicle or check for current hill transport from the temple area; it’s a short road journey, but access and operating hours can change. Allow 1–1½ hours including travel, and go only if darshan has finished in good time—don’t rush the main shrine visit to fit it in.
