Travel from Delhi to Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar will take most of the day door to door: allow about 3 hours at the Delhi airport before departure, plus the flight routing and any connection shown on your ticket. No departure time or connection is specified, so keep the day flexible. After landing, budget 1–2 hours for immigration, baggage and arranging a ride; pre-booked airport pickup or an official taxi is easiest, and the drive to Kuta is usually around 15–30 minutes, but traffic can stretch that considerably.
If you reach Waterbom Bali with enough daylight, it’s a convenient, low-effort first outing near the airport. It generally operates during the day, but check the park’s current hours and ticket availability before setting out; admission is a significant extra cost, and a late arrival may leave too little time to enjoy it. Otherwise, head straight to Made’s Warung in Kuta for Indonesian dishes; allow roughly IDR 100,000–250,000 per person depending on your order, and confirm that the branch is open when you arrive.
The planned Denpasar-to-Delhi journey cannot realistically happen on the same day as your Delhi-to-Denpasar arrival. Treat this as an arrival day and add at least one night in Bali before returning. For your eventual departure, allow most of the day for the airport transfer, check-in, flight routing and any connection; use your ticket’s departure airport instructions to time the ride from your accommodation, allowing extra buffer for traffic.
