Dates are flexible. This day-by-day plan is provisional until you choose exact travel dates.
If arriving from Vadodara, leave around 6:30–7:00 AM for the roughly 2.5–3-hour drive to Ekta Nagar (Kevadia); from Ahmedabad, allow about 3.5–4.5 hours, plus time to reach the city from your airport or railway station. Driving is the simplest option, and hotel or attraction parking is generally easier than relying on local taxis. Start at the Statue of Unity, allowing 2.5–3 hours for security, shuttle transfers, queues, and the observation deck. Entry and observation-deck tickets are capacity-controlled, so reserve them through the official Statue of Unity booking system before travelling rather than relying on same-day availability. Afterward, walk or use the attraction shuttle to the Valley of Flowers for 45–60 minutes of landscaped gardens and broad Narmada River views; the heat is strongest later, so carry water, sunscreen, and a hat.
Have lunch at Ekta Food Court, a convenient vegetarian stop near the attraction hub; budget approximately ₹250–₹600 per person and expect a busy period around noon. Continue to Jungle Safari Park, allowing about two hours including entry procedures and any timed-ticket queue. Then visit Cactus Garden in the late afternoon, when the outdoor paths are more comfortable and the light is pleasant for photographs; allow about an hour and check seasonal hours before setting out, as operating schedules can change. For a one-day visit, staying overnight in Ekta Nagar is much more comfortable than driving back after a full day. Good options are Tent City Narmada for a packaged resort experience, Shreshtha Bhavan for a practical government-run stay, and Statue of Unity Tent City for an organized tented-resort option. Compare meal plans, cancellation terms, transfer arrangements, and distance to the shuttle terminal; check-in typically takes 30–45 minutes, and availability can be limited on weekends and holidays.
