Transportation

Most of the tourist spots in Moscow are accessible by walking, if not, Moscow's metro is affordable and incredibly efficient as most metro stations are an attraction in and of themselves. Taxis and ride-hailing services are available as well, such as Uber and Yandex. A single metro ride can take you to most tourist hotspots, and a one-day pass costs 220 RUB.

Useful Tips

If you have the time, consider taking a day trip to the cities of St. Petersburg or Suzdal, both of which are a few hours away by train. If you want to splurge, consider dining at the White Rabbit, one of Moscow's best restaurants with a sky-high view of the city. Airports

Moscow has four airports, the most popular being Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), followed by Domodedovo International Airport (DME) and Vnukovo International Airport (VKO). The newest airport, Zhukovsky International Airport (ZIA), is situated approximately 40 kilometers southeast of the city centre.
