Hyderabad to Pondicherry Motorcycle Riding Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Hyderabad to Chennai (688 km, 11 hours)
    Start early in the morning to avoid city traffic

    In the morning, head towards Srisailam Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric projects in the country located on the Krishna river. Afternoon can be spent exploring the ancient temples of Mahabalipuram which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End the day by visiting the famous Marina Beach in Chennai, which is one of the longest urban beaches in the world.

  2. Day 2: Chennai to Pondicherry (150 km, 3 hours)
    Travel early in the morning to avoid city traffic

    Start the day by visiting the Kapaleeswarar Temple which is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. In the afternoon, visit the Government Museum which has a vast collection of archaeological and historical artifacts. Finish the day by exploring Auroville, an experimental township founded by the spiritual leader, Mirra Alfassa.

  3. Day 3: Explore Pondicherry
    Explore the town on your own pace

    Start the day by visiting the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a spiritual community that follows the teachings of Sri Aurobindo. In the afternoon, explore the French Quarter and visit the Notre Dame des Anges, a beautiful church that dates back to the 18th century.   4. Day 4: Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram (100 km, 2 hours)

In the afternoon, visit the Dakshinachitra Museum which showcases the rich cultural heritage of South India.
