4-Day Itinerary for Chennai, Pondicherry, Pichavaram in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Chennai
    Starting Point: Chennai International Airport

    Morning: Visit the Kapaleeswarar Temple, one of the oldest and most popular temples in Chennai. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple's architecture is a blend of Dravidian and Vijayanagar styles.

    Afternoon: Head to Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Enjoy a stroll on the beach, try some street food, and take a horse ride or a camel ride.

    Evening: Visit Fort St. George, the first English fortress in India, built in 1644. Explore the museum inside the fort, which houses artifacts from the British colonial era, including paintings, weapons, and coins.

  2. Day 2: Pondicherry

    Morning: Visit the Government Museum, one of the oldest and largest museums in India, which houses an impressive collection of art, archaeology, and natural history exhibits.

    Afternoon: Head to the Phoenix MarketCity mall and indulge in some shopping. The mall has a wide range of stores selling everything from clothes and accessories to electronics and home decor.

    Evening: Visit the Guindy National Park, one of the smallest national parks in India, located in the heart of Chennai. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including spotted deer, blackbucks, and jackals.

Recommendations
