Mahabaleshwar: Three-Day City Experiences Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mahabaleshwar Temple
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Venna Lake

    In the morning, we will visit Mahabaleshwar Temple, an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is known for its intricate carvings and architecture. Afternoon can be spent at Venna Lake enjoying boating and horse riding. In the evening, we will visit Chinaman's Falls which is a great spot for nature lovers and experience the breathtaking view of the waterfall.

  2. Day 2: Wilson Point and Arthur's Seat
    20 minutes (6 km) from Mahabaleshwar Temple

    Day 2 will start with a visit to Wilson Point, the highest point in Mahabaleshwar offering a panoramic view of the valley. On the way to Arthur's Seat, we will stop at Kate's Point, a scenic point that offers a view of the Dhom Dam. Arthur's Seat is a beautiful viewpoint in Mahabaleshwar, known for its picturesque views of the hills and valleys. Afternoon can be spent at Mapro Garden, experiencing the variety of fruit juices and jams. In the evening, we will visit Holy Cross Church, a beautiful church with gothic architecture.

  3. Day 3: Elephant's Head Point and Pratapgad Fort
    25 minutes (8.5 km) from Wilson Point

    Day 3 will start with a visit to Elephant's Head Point, a beautiful cliff that resembles an elephant's head. After this, we will visit Lingmala Waterfall, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by greenery. In the afternoon, we will take a drive to Pratapgad Fort, an ancient fort built by Maratha Empire. The fort offers a great view of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the evening, we will take a stroll at Mahabaleshwar Bazaar which is famous for its leather items, Kolhapuri chappals, and honey.

You can also consider visiting Panchgani which is located 20 km away from Mahabaleshwar and is known for its scenic beauty. You can also take a side trip to Tapola, which is around 25 km from Mahabaleshwar and is known as Mini Kashmir. To maximize the fun, you can take a horse ride to different points in Mahabaleshwar.
