West Sikkim Family Friendly 3-Day Itinerary for August 2023

  1. Day 1: Pelling
    1 hour 30 minutes (35 miles) from Bagdogra Airport

    In the morning, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Then, head to the Rabdentse Ruins, the second capital of Sikkim which boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains.   2. Day 2: Yuksom

In the evening, enjoy a stunning sunset at the Rinchenpong viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range.

If you have more time, consider visiting the Khangchendzonga National Park, home to the third highest peak in the world, Mount Khangchendzonga.
