4-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Rajasthan in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Jaipur
    Jaipur International Airport to City Center - 15km (30 mins)

    In the morning, visit the magnificent City Palace, which includes a museum showcasing historic artefacts, weapons and paintings. In the afternoon, head to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, which houses 19 architectural astronomical instruments. In the evening, visit the iconic Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, which is a five-storey palace with intricate honeycombed façade, offering stunning views of the city.

  2. Day 2: Jodhpur
    Jaipur to Jodhpur - 340km (6 hours)

    In the morning, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, which houses a museum with a collection of palanquins, howdahs, royal cradles, armaments, costumes, paintings and folk music instruments. In the afternoon, visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph made of white marble, featuring intricate carvings and beautiful gardens. In the evening, head to the bustling Clock Tower Market, a vibrant shopping area with a variety of handicrafts and textiles.

  3. Day 3: Udaipur
    Jodhpur to Udaipur - 250km (4.5 hours)

    In the morning, visit the magnificent City Palace, which is a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles and features courtyards, corridors, gardens and terraces. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on the serene Lake Pichola, which offers scenic views of the city and its palaces. In the evening, visit the Saheliyon-ki-Bari, a beautiful garden with fountains, kiosks, marble elephants and lotus pools.

  4. Day 4: Pushkar
    Udaipur to Pushkar - 280km (5 hours)

    In the morning, visit the Brahma Temple, which is one of the few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe. In the afternoon, take a dip in the holy Pushkar Lake, which is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma. In the evening, explore the vibrant Pushkar Bazaar, which offers a variety of handicrafts, jewellery, clothes and souvenirs.
