5-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary in Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches

  3. Day 3: Explore the Wildlife Sanctuaries

    Start your day by visiting the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a safari ride. After lunch, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary to witness a variety of migratory and resident birds. End your day by taking a spice plantation tour at the Sahakari Spice Farm.

  4. Day 4: Enjoy Adventure Sports

    Begin your day by visiting the Dudhsagar Waterfalls and take a dip in the refreshing water. After lunch, head to the Tamdi Surla Waterfall and enjoy trekking and rock climbing. In the evening, go for a hot air balloon ride and witness the beautiful aerial view of Goa.

  5. Day 5: Explore the Local Culture

    Start your day by visiting the Museum of Christian Art and learn about the art and culture of Goa. After lunch, head to the Goa Chitra Museum, where you can learn about the traditional way of living in Goa. In the evening, attend a live music performance at the Monte Music Festival and enjoy the local Goan culture.

Recommendations

If you have more time, you can visit the famous churches of Old Goa, such as the Se Cathedral, Church of St. Francis of Assisi and Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. You can also take a day trip to the Dudhsagar Spice Plantation and visit the Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple. To maximise your fun, indulge in water sports at Mobor Beach, go for a hot air balloon ride, or attend a Goan carnival. Finally, the side trips you can take are to the neighbouring state of Maharashtra to visit the Sindhudurg Fort or to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary in Karnataka for a thrilling river rafting experience.
